BuÅŸteni is a small mountain town in the north of the country Prahova, in the center of Romania. It is located in the Prahova Valley, at the bottom of the Bucegi mountains, that have a maximum altitude of 2505 m.One village, Poiana Å¢apului, is administratively part of the town, formerly a separate commune prior to 1950. According to the 2011 census, it has 8,553 inhabitants.

Azuga is a small resort town nestled in the mountains of Prahova country in the Wallachian region of Romania. Azuga is located at the foot of the Baiu mouintains, and contains the longest ski run in Romania, the Sorica - together with other ski slopes. The town also had a famous beer factory that brewed Azuga Beer (now produced elsewhere in Romania). The town offers a breathtaking view over the Bucegi mountains, even from street level and especially from the top of the Sorica mountain (at the gondola arrival station).
